We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are God’s true Word, which He Himself breathed into existence. They are without any error and will never steer us in the wrong direction.. The Bible is the final source and authority for what we believe and how we live.
We believe there is only one God, and He has chosen to reveal Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe God created humans in His image, but their sin distorted that image in them, dividing humans from God. Every person comes into the world with the propensity to sin. Jesus of Nazareth is the only human who has never sinned.
We believe the only way a person can have a true, forgiven relationship with God is through Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus came into the world as fully man while never ceasing to be fully God. We can have a restored relationship with God because Jesus actually died and God resurrected Him physically from death
We believe in the literal, physical return of Jesus to judge those who are still alive along with those who have died. We call this “the blessed hope,” that Jesus is returning for His Bride, the Church, made of every believer throughout all history.
We believe God offers eternal life as a free gift and that we must receive by faith alone through God’s grace alone. The life that comes from this gift is a permanent possession of those who receive it.
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God as the first form of human government, established between one man and one woman. This divine institution reflects the relationship between Christ and His Church, serving as a living testimony of God's love. Within marriage, husband and wife are called to honor one another as equal image-bearers of God, support each other's spiritual growth, and exercise their gifts in complementary partnership. Through this sacred union, God provides the context for procreation and nurturing of children, establishing the family as the fundamental unit of society.
We believe in water baptism of believers, and that we are commanded to do as Jesus Christ when He led by the example of His own baptism.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is working today just like in the Book of Acts through signs, wonders, and miracles. The supernatural Church is an actual and current reality.
We believe that God will empower believers today to do even greater things than Jesus did in His earthly life, because He is sitting at the right hand of the Father and has made the Holy Spirit available to all who will receive Him . These acts of God through us will bring Glory to God the Father.
We believe that the sick will be made well, the dead will be raised, the bound will be set free, and the diseased will be healed just as they were in Jesus’ own earthly ministry (Matthew 10:8).
We believe the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is manifested through local bodies of believers who have accepted God’s mission to enlarge His Kingdom. The local church is autonomous, free of any external authority of control.
